March 30 Agenda

March 30, 2011 CILA meeting
 Welcome back!
 People’s Project with John Meister
  • We will have nomination forms for this year’s People’s Project.
  • Nomination Parameters: Students, Faculty and Staff involved in disabled community on campus. Nominees should promote 2 of the following qualities: inclusive, proactive, leader, involved, engaged.
  • The People’s Project group will decide from nominees the final picks. Nominations are due by April 15th. Nomination parameters will be sent via email. Remember, we want these nominees to have an impact on the disabled community of Boulder, which is not limited to only the disabled and only people on campus. Be creative in your nominations.
Student Symposium on Friday afternoon April 15.
  • We need a few students to describe our group and what we do on campus and in the community. The symposium will be in an informal setup where students can walk by and talk to each student group about what they do. The time of this symposium will be posted later.
Nominations
  • For Secretary and Treasurer
  • Annabel was elected as Secretary and newcomer Natalie S. was elected as Treasurer! These will be our new executives for next year!
 StrengthsQuest test for anyone interested
  • Those people that want to learn about their strengths Amy will email the code for the test.  We will have people from Career Services come in to discuss each of our results at the next meeting. Make sure you complete the online test by the next meeting on April 13th. This is optional but we suggest that everyone participates.
